چکیده

Occupant comfort in buildings is one of the most crucial considerations designing a building. Accordingly, there growing interest this area. Aspects include thermal comfort, visual acoustic and indoor air quality (IAQ) satisfaction. The objective state-of-the-art review was to provide comprehensive, explicit, up-to-date literature on occupant buildings, since issue has great impact lifestyle, health, productivity occupants. A meta-synthesis method also used for an analytical-interpretive previous studies. In research, scientific research studies related subject period 2002–2022 were reviewed. Previous reviews have often covered fundamental concepts principles comfort. Although innumerable focused other aspects not been considered. analyzed discussed reference type study, case study geographical locations climate zones, building types, decision-making models, assessment criteria, data-collection tools, data analysis strategies. Finally, future recommendations are presented. Through review, we find that models mostly based perception votes collected from experimental studies, which may reflect preferences users well. addition, only influence environmental factors investigated, personal ignored. This presents useful guide researchers determine their outlines field.

Learning User Preferences to Maximise Occupant Comfort in Office Buildings

It is desirable to ensure that the thermal comfort conditions in offices are in line with the preferences of occupants. Controlling their offices correctly therefore requires the correct prediction of their thermal sensation which is often determined using the ISO 7730 norm. The latter defines the predicted mean vote, i.e. the mean thermal preferences of an average group of people, based on a n...
